The beauty of a midweek break at Trabolgan is that it’s so flexible: you can design the perfect holiday for your family. We’ve had fun designing a sample itinerary to get you started.
- Monday. You can check in anytime from 10am, but we can’t guarantee that your accommodation will be ready until 5pm, so you can explore the site and grab a delicious traditional pub lunch at Cotters. Be sure to keep your swimsuits handy and enjoy a dip in the fabulous subtropical swimming pool while you’re waiting to get into your new home for the week!
- Tuesday. You can spend the morning exploring the playgrounds at Trabolgan and then book a tennis or badminton court for some sporting family fun. The Trabolgan Adventure Sports programme offers Go Karting, a Zip Wire, a Climbing and Abseiling Tower and the popular Bounce Zone, amongst other activities, so you can all have a go, or sit and enjoy a coffee in the Sports Hall Cofffee Shop while the children exhaust themselves!
- Wednesday. Pop along to our convenient DayToday one stop shop to stock up on essentials for the rest of the week. You can get fresh bread for a delicious breakfast and a full range of groceries for everything else you need. You don’t have to leave the site to have a great holiday, but if you want to explore the area, you can visit Fota Wildlife Park for animal experiences, or head to the Titanic Experience Cobh to find out more about this fated ship. For added convenience Trabolgan sell discounted tickets to some local attractions so pop into information point or DayToday shop for more information. Eat out or enjoy the fully equipped kitchen in your accommodation when you return to Trabolgan.
- Thursday. The Crafty Hands Pottery Studio is a great place to spend some quality time with the children. You can choose ready-made pieces of pottery to paint, or have a go at clay work itself. Your pottery will be fired so that you can collect it before you leave, and prices start from €10 per piece. Celebrate the final night of your midweek break with fresh, homemade pizza at the Pizzeria.
- KidFriday. Enjoy a family game at our 9-hole crazy golf course after packing up, or enjoy another dip in the pool this morning. Wave goodbye to Trabolgan after a healthy lunch at Sally O’Hara’s Family Restaurant or a burger and fries at Casey’s Diner, but don’t forget to book your next break before you leave!
