Great Kid’s Activities at Trabolgan: Karting, Zipwire, Abseiling and More!
April 20, 2016Here at Trabolgan, we’re proud to offer a great range of activities to keep everyone entertained on your family holiday in Ireland. It’s our aim to be as family friendly as possible, and we’ve created a great range of activities that will have everyone shouting for more.
Whether you’re into extreme sports or crazy golf, we’ve got the facilities to ensure you have a fantastic break, and if you’ve got a budding sports star on your hands, you’ll be pleased with the programmes we offer to keep the kids entertained on holiday.
Kids Activities at Trabolgan, Ireland
- TAS. Trabolgan Adventure Sports offer exciting options for all of the family, in purpose built facilities that include a coffee shop and snack bar for the less adventurous members! Kids will love the Bounce Zone, with bungee trampolines and indoor inflatables, and archery, combat laser and WaterWalkerz for ages 6+. Those over 5 years of age may try the double karts at our Go-Karting track, while those over 150cm can ride in single carts.
- The 12-metre tower. Part of the TAS programme, the Trabolgan 12-metre tower offers a Zip Wire, abseiling and climbing. Suitable for guests over the age of 6, there’s plenty to challenge everyone!
- Swimming paradise. Trabolgan’s subtropical Pool Paradise includes a huge waterslide and a Wavemaker, as well as a pool for the littlest members of the family to splash around in. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and non-swimmers and young children must be preceded by a swimmer to ‘greet and hold’ them when using the waterslide.
- Play areas. We have two outdoor play areas in the woodland environments at Trabolgan Holiday Village, our Eco Friendly Playground and our Wooden Wonderland playground, as well as two exciting indoor play areas to choose from. Florrie’s Den is in the main centre and is ideal for under 7s, and Jungle Safari can be found in the Sport’s Hall complex and is perfect for under 10s.
- Kid’s entertainment. A new friend, Wez the Weasel, will join Trabolgan’s favourite characters, Florrie the Fox and Bonnie the Bunny this year. These lovable characters will be on hand to entertain the children with shows, dances and quizzes, and there are also special day events starring Peppa Pig, Ben and Holly, Fireman Sam and more.
