Enjoy The Euro 2016 Championships With Trabolgan
June 8, 2016Here at Trabolgan Holiday Village, we’re all getting excited about the Euro 2016 Championships. Our favourite Trabolgan friends, Florrie the Fox, Bonnie the Bunny, Fireman Sam and Wez the Weasel are all looking forward to enjoying the Irish games together with the children who are on holidays at Trabolgan.
These characters know children’s entertainment inside and out, and can help to make big sporting events just as much fun for the kids as for their parents. We’re all looking forward to watching Martin O’Neill and his Assistant Manager, Roy Keane, make their selections and take the team through its paces. Our characters have been making selections of their own, naming their top team for the opening game on 13th June in Paris.

- Florrie the Fox & Bonnie the Bunny choose… Florrie the Fox and Bonnie the Bunny are getting into the sporting spirit with their top picks for the Ireland team of their dreams. They’d love to see Darren Randolph in goal, along with Seamus Coleman, John O’Shea, Ciaran Clark and Robbie Brady in defense. They think this would be a superb starting lineup, and are hoping to see all of their favourites on the field on 13th.
- Wez the Weasel chooses… Wez the Weasel has been focusing on the midfield, and has made his selections based on who he’d like to see in the team when Ireland first appear on the pitch. He’s chosen James McCarthy, Glenn Whelan and James McClean, as he’s hoping to see them contribute to a victory in Paris. And of course, it’s all in the name, and Wez couldn’t miss out Wes Hoolahan, his favourite pick for the lineup!
- Fireman Sam chooses… For Fireman Sam, it’s all about the strikers, and he’s got a good feeling about Shane Long and Jon Walters, hoping they’ll be firing off a few goals against Sweden! We can’t wait to see if these two make the final team and help to take Ireland to the next level
