3 Easter Craft Ideas For The Whole Family

We’ve come up with some special Easter craft ideas that the whole family can join in with, and perhaps some of these will become family traditions, to be enjoyed every year.

Super Easter Craft Ideas:
1. Painted eggs. Painted eggs are an old Easter tradition, and you can get the whole family involved by introducing a competitive element or designing a combined egg scene. Boil eggs for younger ones and blow eggs for more careful painters, then use your imaginations to create some works of art. You could try designing a farm or zoo scene together, or how about creating some of the Wonders of the World?! Get everyone involved and challenge older ones to be ambitious with their creations and you could find a new hobby or talent in the family.
2. Easter bags. Even the youngest children can make marks with pens and crayons, and fabric is a great medium for them. Plain cotton bags are available cheaply, and a pack of fabric pens, paints or crayons gives you everything you need to create a unique and useful gift for everyone. You could even use your bags to collect Easter eggs instead of the traditional baskets!
3. Sun-catchers. A bit of sparkle can get everyone in the mood for a celebration, and beaded suncatchers are a lovely craft that anyone can do. Simply cut short lengths of wire or thread and tie a knot in the end of each, then thread with glass or metallic beads and hang up in a window to cast beautiful light effects around the room when the sun comes out. Even little ones can achieve very attractive effects with crafts like this, and they’ll love to see their efforts displayed for all to see.
